Title: Fudge Pound Cake

SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS; BOOK 4
1/2cButter; softened
1 3/4cSugar
2tsExtract, vanilla
3 Eggs
1 3/4cFlour
2/3cCocoa
2tsBaking powder
1/2tsBaking soda
1cSour cream

Preheat oven to 325 F. In large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs.

In separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda. Blend flour mixture into butter mixture alternating with sour cream. Pour into grased 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan; remove from pan and cool completely.
